FES clients benefit from having a single point of contact
for delivery of a tailored solution within lead time requirements. We also liaise on their behalf with
external bodies and utility networks asset owners.
Design
Our Design and Technical Services Group
provides design services both inhouse and to our external client base. Our principal engineering staff
are degree qualified and Chartered Engineers who can provide innovative solutions and use bespoke
systems to produce accurate designs and drawings.
Consultancy
We can provide expert consultancy on all
aspects of new utility service installation connections, repair, maintenance and diversionary work.
Our services include determining load profiles.
Site Survey
We conduct full site surveys to determine
supply routes, identify potential engineering difficulties and provide solutions.
Planning
We
coordinate works to ensure a professional installation within agreed target dates.
Meter co-ordination electricity and
gas
While FES does not enter into supply contracts on behalf of our clients, we
achieve a one-stop approach to power and gas by coordinating installation and returning meter assets
to the relevant Meter Asset Manager or Owner.
Safety
In this industry health and safety is paramount.
We are passionate about safe working practice and comply rigidly with Health and Safety and
Environmental Regulations.
We promote a health and safety culture throughout the
company and the highest standards of health and safety are reflected in the design and or installation
of systems and equipment supplied to our clients.
Insurance
FES carries PI insurance to a value of
£15 million for design services where we undertake the final installation of the associated
Engineering Services.
